I feel like this song has such a powerful message. Not to mention, that the song itself is really good and Naomi Scott absolutely killed it. I've been listening to it on repeat since I saw the live-action Aladdin, so I had to include it in my month of Disney covers. I hope you enjoy :)

I'm on a mission to Glow Up before 30 (I talked about it a bit in my goal video ), and part of that process includes cosmetic treatments/procedures that I had been thinking about for a while but never got around to. I did micro-blading first and now I'm doing laser hair removal. I decided to go to Ideal Image mainly because they were having a promo at the time. The next installment of the Disney series is here! This time I did a cover of Colors of The Wind from Pocahontas. I chose this song not only because it's just a good song, but also because the message of it is still unfortunately still relevant today.

I got another VoxBox from Influenster (yay for more free product!) and this time, it was the Carol's Daughter Wash Day Delight shampoo and conditioner. I received the one with Aloe. I was really excited to try these products since I've heard about them before, but I hadn't yet gotten around to trying them. I was really surprised when I first opened the conditioner because it definitely feels more like a styling product than a rinse out conditioner. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will definitely be keeping these products in my rotation. Check out the video hear my full thoughts :)

I'm sure my fellow natural hair girlies can relate to the excitement about getting our hair pressed since we don't typically do it often. When I first went natural, I made a decision to get a press once a year. Due to a family emergency + covid, I skipped last year. Since it had been 2 full years since my hair had been straightened, I was sooo excited to have straight hair.  I thoroughly enjoyed my (short-lived) straight hair, but I was also ready to go back curly. This triggered some slight worry about heat damage. Nobody wants to spend $$ and time getting a press only to end up with damaged hair afterwards. Check out my latest youtube video to see how what I do to go from straight back to curly hair with no heat damage :) I also provide a review of a curl creme by Ouai that I received for free courtesy of Influenster.

So 2021 is turning out to be a lot...almost like an extension of 2020, and I'm sure we could all use some joy in our lives right about now. For the month of March, I will be doing weekly Disney Covers on my Youtube Channel.  I don't want to spoil all the fun, so I won't reveal which songs I am doing just yet, but I do need help! I chose the first song for the month based on a subscriber request on another Disney video that I just happened to do a while back (so if you really want to know, you can go look up that video lol). I have 2 other songs that I really love, so those are on the list as well. However, I don't know what to do for the 4th song, so please comment here (or use the form on the contact page) which song you think I should do . I will pick the one I like the best and shout you out in the video when I make it. I will be choosing this weekend, so don't wait till the last minute!
